Comtrol’s PROFINET Gateway!
This enables fast, accurate collection of key information needed to keep the factory floor operating smoothly and efficiently. Now malfunctioning devices can be diagnosed immediately, and critical data such as inventory levels, package weights, raw material levels, and billed projects can be accessed at the touch of a key. That leads to better, more timely decisions based on complete and accurately tracked data.
The DeviceMaster UP family of products delivers serial to Ethernet connections for up to four serial devices and provide PLC connectivity to standard serial devices with flashable protocol support for EtherNet/IP, PROFINET CbA and IO, Modbus/TCP, and TCP/IP.
In contrast to many industrial protocol-bridging products, the DeviceMaster UP acts as a superior PROFINET gateway, configuring in just minutes via a web browser interface. The included PortVision remote management and configuration software makes it a simple task to detect and manage every DeviceMaster on the network, facilitating firmware updates, troubleshooting, and remote administration.
