The Comtrol DeviceMaster UP family of products delivers serial to Ethernet connections for up to four serial devices and provide PLC connectivity to standard serial devices with flashable protocol support for EtherNet/IP, PROFINET CbA and IO, Modbus/TCP, and TCP/IP.
In contrast to many industrial protocol-bridging products, the DeviceMaster UP acts as a superior modbus gateway, configuring in just minutes, either directly from the PLC or remotely via a web browser interface. The included PortVision remote management and configuration software makes it a simple task to detect and manage every DeviceMaster on the network, facilitating firmware updates, troubleshooting, and remote administration.
